I'm Ashley — a PM, builder, and community architect from Detroit. Also a mom.
My path wasn't traditional, and that's exactly the point. I grew up homeschooled, went dual enrolled, and built my foundation outside the system before it had a chance to define me. Before tech, I worked in healthcare — where I learned what it means to design for people when the stakes are real.
I got into product by doing the work before I had the title. Writing PRDs. Leading teams. Building an audience of 100k+ before I had a brand strategy. I hold a Google PM certification and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and I placed top 6 out of 90+ at TechTown's Mobility Week Hackathon.
At the Apple Developer Academy I've served as PM on nearly every team challenge — shipped We Color, submitted Solstice to the Swift Student Challenge, and co-founded a community-driven analytics product called PulsePoint.
I manage community at DevsCreate313, host events on cognitive accessibility, and I founded a boundaries bootcamp with a second cohort already in the works.
Outside of work I'm reading, cooking, or at the gym. Not to escape — but to slow down. Most people rush past the details that matter. I built my whole approach around stopping there. It's where the options nobody else sees live, and the engine behind everything I do.
